The cuvée of Lagrein and Cabernet comes from hand-picked grapes from a selected site in the immediate vicinity of the Bolzano winery and produces a dense, powerful and full-bodied wine. After the traditional red-wine fermentation, the young wine matures partly in barriques and partly in large oak barrels. The nose is intense and reminiscent of dark berries and violets, while the palate is full-bodied, yet fresh and elegant. The strong, spicy Cabernet forms a perfect harmony with the fresh, fruity elegance of the Lagrein.

Warm fertile alluvial soils in Gries – San Maurizio at 250 meters a.s.l.
Vinification
After the traditional red-wine fermentation, the young wine matures partly in barriques and partly in large oak barrels.
